Commissioner of Lands Mr Shadreck Mbewe earlier today paid a courtesy call on the office of the Town Clerk represented by Director Public Health Mr Castro Chisanga. Mr Mbewe is in the district to launch the issuance of land titles to property owners starting tomorrow following the National Land Titling Programme.

A recently rehabilitated section of the road that was damaged by a leaking underground water pipe. The leakage has been repaired and the area backfilled. Due to high moisture levels and ongoing rains, surfacing will be done once conditions are suitable.
