The 2025 CDF aims to achieve the following core objectives:
The WDC Serve as grassroots organs responsible for community mobilization and needs identification.
They also submit project and beneficiary proposals to the Constituency Development Fund Committee (CDFC).
The CDFC Reviews and recommends projects, loan, and grant applications for approval by the Local Authority.
It also oversees the implementation and monitoring of CDF-funded activities within the constituency.
Solwezi Council Plays a central role in administering the CDF, including procurement, disbursement of funds, capacity building, and performance tracking.
It also ensures compliance with financial regulations and development planning standards.
This sub-committee evaluates business plans and loan/grant applications, and provides recommendations for financing.
It also monitors repayment and revolving fund performance.
Actively participate in the implementation, monitoring, and sustainability of funded projects and programs.
Are engaged in sensitization meetings and training to ensure understanding of loan terms, project ownership, and accountability.
Provides overall policy direction, capacity support, oversight, and annual performance reviews.
