The Mayor seized the opportunity to implore youths in the district to desist from engaging in vices that will deter them from meaningfully contributing to personal and national development.
Alternatively, he urged the young people to take advantage of the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and other empowerment initiatives through which they can be empowered to be the positive change the nation longs for.
This year’s Youth day has been celebrated under the theme; “Zambia at 60, be the change”.
