A Peer Review Assessment Meeting under the Zambia Devolution Support Programme (ZDSP) has taken place in Solwezi, convened in the Council Chamber. The engagement was led by the Provincial Local Government Officer, Mr. Adrian Zulu, who guided discussions focused on strengthening governance systems, enhancing service delivery and improving overall performance within Local Authorities.
The meeting brought together Council Secretaries, ZDSP Focal Point Persons, Public Relations Officers and Socio-Economic Planning Officers from various Councils across the province. This diverse participation provided an important platform for knowledge exchange, collaborative learning and assessment of progress made under the ZDSP.
The insights and recommendations emerging from the meeting are expected to support more effective and development driven local governance across the province, contributing to improved service delivery and strengthened institutional performance within Local Authorities.
