Solwezi Municipal Council Town Clerk, Mr. Stanley Mbewe, today received a trophy presented by Council Police Officers who recently completed a Continuous Professional Development program at Chalimbana Local Government Training Institute.
Mr. Mbewe expressed pride in the officers’ exceptional performance during the training, where they emerged as overall winners.
He commended their dedication and urged the unit to continue demonstrating excellence and upholding the Council’s reputation.
Accompanied by the Chief Administrative Officer Mrs Proud Mtonga, Mr. Mbewe also inspected a parade mounted by the police unit in honour of the five officers who successfully completed the program.
During a pass out ceremony last week for the second cohort of Council Police officers attending a training at Chalimbana Local Government Training Institute, Solwezi Municipa Council’s Barnabas Mwanza was awarded as the overall Best in Drill, Discipline and Turn out.
